One of our all time favourite and coveted Longines watches, this reference 9028 Conquest features a sector style Power Reserve dial that moves two inner discs, one which turns clockwise as you manually wind it, or move, and one shows the reserve as the mainspring powers down, it is denoted by the inner numerals as how much charge is left in the watch. So cool !
This watch features a couple of uncommon things often lacking in these, one being the original, rare scalloped crown which they rarely have in tact, the correct plexi with cyclops at 12, and a very well preserved enameled fish caseback logo! which is a work of art in itself.
These watches seldom surface, and in lovely original condition such as this, noting the even and beautiful lume colour at 3 & 9.
The watch us running perfectly with strong power reserve and accurate time keeping for a watch of this vintage.
Thick case with unpolished facets. Note that the 3 digit numbers on the back of the lug corresponds to the same inside the caseback, again correct.
Comes paired on an equally lovely original Montal brick braclelet with adjustable sliding clasp, which can be exchanged for a leather strap if desired.
This is one watch that you should seriously consider, and will likely not see again.
