A rare and stunning find, this vintage 1950s Movado Wristwatch is the epitomy of mid century design featuring a large 35mm UFO saucer stepped 'hidden crown' case with small lugs exhibiting the large dial.
The applied spearhead hour markers are of high quality detailed in facetted rose gold with dauphine hands and subsecond section at 6 position with outer pearl minute track.
The watch is in new old stock, unused condition having been stored away in a collection since purchase, truly amazing to see! It has its original factory sticker on the caseback albeit worn.
The original tag and strap which has also aged/stiffened over time, however it is in good shape.
The watch features a constrasting rose gold crown which matches the rose dial furniture.
Despite the condition It has recenly been serviced and is keeping good time so it is good to be worn and enjoyed.
A wonderful find and coming from one of the best brands vintage has to offer.
