1957 Rodania Geometer 5621 H with Valjoux 72 Adjusted two positions. A Badass Chronograph.
Myth or legend....Believed to be the influential driving force behind the design concept for the 1st generation 1958 Omega Speedmaster 2915-1, this Rodania Geometer is really a grail watch to find for many years, and we were lucky to have one before.
I believe the watch stands alone in it’s design, it really is less is more, and a pure functionional tool watch design. We have only seen a few come to market in the last 10 years of searching for them.
The watch dates from around 1954 (before the Speedmaster was introduced) and was a matte black dial which has turned and amazing tropical with broad luminous dauphine hands.
The movement is the famous valjoux 72, but, adjusted to three positions on the bridge, which stood alone at that time.
