A high grade vintage chronograph built in Switzerland
During the 60s Heuer were at the forefront of designing Sports Chronographs for formula one drivers and car drivers alike, and were notably worn by the likes of Jo Siffert, Jochen Rindt and Mario Andretti.
The reference 3647(s) is a perfect representation of what Heuer wanted to acheive with this clean, classic and sleek design.
This example here features a crisp stainless steel 36mm case, with sharp angular lug design, in unpolished condition.
The silver sunburst dial has "Swiss T" denoting tritium luminous on the dial. The dial is in outstanding condition with little to no wear, and the tritium turned a warm yellow hue.
The watch has the original pushers and Heuer signed crown.
This is one of the cleanest two register designs made, a classic that will only be made once.
A rare find in this condition, and one we don't find often today.
The watch runs well and keeps good time. It is paired with a dessert sand Pebro strap an comes with the original Heuer red box.
The watch came from the United Kingdom.
