  • Dating to 1972 this Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 1002 features a stunning "ghost taupe" dial which turns from taupe brown, caramel and deep chocolate at the turn of the wrist! This vertical brushed dial variation, especially featuring a Sigma dial, is rare. The tritium lume in the handsand hour plots is also a nice deep pumpkin tone, and original.

    The watch comes with its original purchase receipt, gurantee with service stamp in 1974 and Rolex green Box.

    The bracelet is correctly date 72/4 and is in excellent condition having been retightend, in excellent condition, and can be micro adjusted at the clasp.

    The watch is in superb original condition and recently serviced with a 12 month gurantee included in the purchase.

    A very special example of a very uncommon dial variant, and a hard watch to let go of !
