A rare and unique 1973 Rolex Datejust 1603 with unique and rare "Ghost" aged dial which has a grey taupe tone with full tritium luminous hour plots and batons, unique to this dial style.
The "Pie Pan" dial is simply gorgeous and in superb original condition, and features a dissapearing white script; when the watch is tilted to certain angles it fades and dissapears! A tricky watch to shoot !
The watch comes with its original box and signed Gurantee papers and some older Rolex Service papers.
This is one of the finest and most uncommon Datejust to find, dating to approx 1973, it comes on a 7836 Oyster bracelet in good condition.
This full set 1603 is a special watch in all elements.
